The service

Bill Bu is a subscription point-of-sale and inventory service for retail businesses, delivered over the internet. We provide it on a best-effort basis and may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

We create your organisation, your first store and your owner login. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential, for the actions of every staff account you create, and for making sure the details you record are accurate.

You must not use Bill Bu for anything unlawful, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or resell access without our written agreement.

Your data

The business data you enter remains yours. We store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you record, including any personal details of your own customers.

Subscriptions and payment

Bill Bu is sold as a subscription per organisation, billed for the period you choose. Prices shown are exclusive of GST, which is added at the applicable rate. You will receive a tax invoice for each payment.

Renewal is not automatic. We will remind you before a period ends, and the subscription continues when you pay for the next period. If a subscription lapses, your data is retained and remains accessible, but features above the level you have paid for stop being available.

We may change prices. A change will not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will give you notice before it applies to a renewal.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep Bill Bu available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, and will give notice where reasonably possible. We are not liable for interruptions caused by your internet connection, your devices, or events outside our control.

Compliance is yours

Bill Bu helps you produce GST-compliant invoices and returns from the information you enter. It does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice. Responsibility for what you file, and for the accuracy of the data behind it, rests with you and your advisers.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Bill Bu at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if payment is not made, or if required by law. On termination you may request an export of your data within [RETENTION PERIOD].

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the [NUMBER] months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law
