Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers subscription payments made to Bill Bu, provided by [REGISTERED ENTITY NAME]. It does not cover sales you make to your own customers through the software — those are between you and them.

Before you pay

We set your shop up and walk you through billing a real sale before asking for payment. The best time to decide Bill Bu is not right for you is then, when it costs nothing.

Cancelling

Billing is not automatic. A subscription runs for the period you paid for and simply ends unless you choose to renew — there is nothing to cancel to avoid a future charge, and no cancellation fee.

If you decide to stop, your data stays available for [RETENTION PERIOD] and you can ask us to export it at any point during that time.

Refunds

We will refund a subscription payment in these cases:

  • Duplicate payment. Charged twice for the same period — refunded in full, and you do not need to ask.
  • Payment taken in error by us, or for a plan you did not choose — refunded in full.
  • Within [NUMBER] days of your first payment, if Bill Bu does not work for your shop — refunded in full.
  • Extended unavailability. If the service is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, we will refund or credit the affected part of your subscription.

We do not normally refund:

  • Part-used periods after the first [NUMBER] days, where the service has been available and working
  • A subscription ended because of a breach of our Terms of Service

How to request one

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once we process it, the money typically reaches your account within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank. We do not refund to a different account from the one that paid.
