Questions we get asked
Do I need to be online all the time?+
Bill Bu runs in the browser and needs a connection to bill. It works on any phone, tablet or computer — there is nothing to install and no licence tied to one machine.
Is GST billing included on every plan?+
Yes. GST-compliant invoices, CGST/SGST/IGST splitting, HSN and SAC codes, B2B and B2C handling, and GSTR-1 summaries are on every plan. The plans differ on how many stores and staff you get, and on the deeper reports.
Can I move from one plan to another later?+
Yes, at any time from Settings. If you outgrow one store or your first staff member, upgrading takes effect immediately and your data carries over untouched.
What happens to my old bills if GST rates change?+
Nothing. The tax rate and HSN code are copied onto each invoice line at the moment of sale, so historical bills and returns stay exactly as they were filed.
